Robert has held management and executive positions in both the investor owned and not-for-profit US healthcare industry. His experience includes Chairman of the Board and CEO, for a US listed public hospital company and President and Chief Financial Officer for several health maintenance organizations (HMO’s) as well as Information Systems Director, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for several US academic medical centers. Robert was responsible for the acquisition of HCA’s hospital network in London, England; development and acquisition of HCA’s partnerships in several Catholic hospital networks in the US and HCA’s initial expansion and acquisition of a nation-wide ambulatory surgery center operator.

Robert has been affiliated with The Paul Ramsay Group, Sydney, Australia. Initially, for the development and subsequent acquisition, of two (2) public healthcare companies: Ramsay Health Care, Inc. (Nasdaq-RHCI), and CAC-Ramsay, Inc. (Nasdaq-RMCR). Most recently, he has been engaged by Ramsay Healthcare Ltd for its expansion into Europe and its new interest in US healthcare businesses.

Robert is an investor in a number of US and UK healthcare start-up companies and remains an advisor to; SnapDragon Medical, Inc., (www.snapdragonmedical.com) and HealthCare Solutions, LLC, a Princeton, New Jersey healthcare consulting group.
