David has more than 30 years healthcare experience, both in the public and private sectors, as a management consultant, senior manager entrepreneur and non-executive director. His career started with 10 years in NHS finance, where he qualified as an accountant.

In 1984 he moved into the management consultancy sector where he has worked for the last 24 years. This included five years with an international consulting company, followed by setting up Secta in 1990. This company grew into a leading specialist healthcare consulting business before being acquired in 2002 by Tribal Group plc. In 2004, David became Chief Executive of Tribal's consulting division, helping to create the largest public sector consulting business in the UK.

Having completed a major organisational change programme, David left Tribal in the summer of 2006, and has since worked as a programme director for Circle Health and as a freelance business development consultant. David is currently also a Director of specialist health and social care company Finnamore Management Consultants and a non-executive director of Prospectus ?Äì a leading strategy consultancy in the Republic of Ireland.

David has a real interest in helping businesses to develop and deliver growth strategies, and to achieve their full potential. His first hand experience of starting, growing and selling companies across the health sector is of particular relevance to the services offered by Healthcare Partnering.
